Happy Saturday! For many of us, this week is one of the busiest shopping weeks of the year.

Some of us have a list of things that we wait to buy until this week in hopes of great amazing deals.

Some of us get caught up in the excitement and buy things we don’t need just for the feeling of getting a great sale.

Some of us do both!

If you find yourself feeling regret over purchases, practicing mindfulness can be a great tool to help you make more intentional purchases.

🍃 Here are 3 tips to help you integrate mindfulness into your shopping:

📝 1. Make a list of your wants and needs before shopping. Just because something is a “want” doesn’t mean you shouldn’t buy it, but take a few moments to recognize why you want it.

😮‍💨 2. Take a few deep breaths before making an unplanned purchase. Notice how you feel during the pause.

💚 3. Recognize if you are substituting retail therapy for underlying things that need to be addressed by a therapist or other mental health practitioner.

Even small purchases can make a huge impact for small businesses!
