We offer monthly memberships, as well as donation-based drop-in classes. All of our classes are held virtually and recorded, allowing you to practice anytime and anywhere, while still being a part of community.

Strong By Nature Class Offerings

Yoga Classes

Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga offers gentle stretches and breathing practices to help relieve mental, physical and emotional stress and tension. This class is suitable for all levels and can be done in a chair or on the floor. The focus of this class is on resting and restoring the body and mind.

Recommended prop: yoga block, water

Gentle Flow

Gentle Flow offers an opportunity to find balance through movement and rest through standing, seated, kneeling and lying poses. This class offers opportunities to challenge ourselves through movement as well as opportunities to rest in stillness. 

Recommended prop: yoga block, water

Power Yoga

Power Yoga is a strengthening and activating fast-paced flow. This practice focuses on increasing stamina and promoting a healthy heart. Variations are offered, however this class is not recommended for those new to practicing yoga. 

Recommended prop: yoga block, water, towel

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga brings the best of a yoga practice to those who require or prefer the support of a chair or need to experience movement while sitting at their desk for extended periods.  Some poses will be done standing while using the chair as a prop as we explore unique variations of classic and not so classic yoga poses.

Community Membership Sessions

Mindful Moment

Mindful Moment offers participants an opportunity to practice different meditation practices and journal while in community. Meditations may consist of breath and body awareness, mantras, affirmations, chanting. visualizations and/or a meditative reading to help bring clarity, improve focus, and relax the mind and body. 

Required props: journal/paper, pen/pencil, water

 

Lunch
and Connect

Connection sessions are offered to allow members to connect and network with others in our community. Each session will offer a different suggested topic for discussion. Bring your favorite beverage or snack and deepen your relationships with other community members.

Strength Classes

Mindful Movement

Mindful Movement combines self-massage with small therapy balls and a foam roller, with strengthening and stretching exercises. Class involves lying, kneeling and standing strength and stretching exercises for the whole body. Adaptations and variations are offered however the class moves quickly and may not be suitable for everyone. Movement examples include planks, squats, push-ups, sit-ups, and standing balance exercises.


Required prop:
 massage balls and foam roller

Strength and Stretch

Strength and Stretch involves laying, kneeling and standing strengthening and stretching exercises for the whole body. Adaptations and variations are offered however the classes move quickly and may not be suitable for everyone.
